Caller: Ambet

Amber has some how recieved mt information on a data base. She calls me, then follows through with a text. She has found my partners phone number along with his parents as well. Calling saying this will be recorded and asking questions about me. Yesterday was the last straw calling my work. She says the same line and is extremely dodgy. When challenged she hangs up.
Scam from so.wthjng I've clicked on more than likely fb.

Same, except the person they mentioned isn't a social media contact.

Debt collectors also sent text regarding my neighbour.
What sort of low life tries those tactics on people.
Not to mention at 7.30am

I get calls and texts from this number every few months. the message is:

Hi Sean , could you please contact Amber on (08) 64 77 1862 in relation to Brianna. Thank you.

I am not Sean or Brianna. I don't even know anyone by the name of Sean or Brianna. I thought someone might have shared my number as a dodgy reference??

Caller: Amber - Pioneer Credit

Amber called my mobile number and said they were trying to get in contact with my neighbour (who I dont know) about an important matter and asked to pass on a message.

Caller asked us to speak with our neighbor next door (who we have never met). Not sure how they got my number or knew my address (said it was on a Database). I called back and was advised the data was acquired from https://www.globaldata.net.au under their system 'Casper'. I called globadata and asked to be removed. They have advised that an email needs to be sent to supression @ globaldata.net.au to do this. Will see if this works.

Called yesterday which I missed then texted to call back "in relation to Sanela". I called back and got sent to voicemail, left a message saying I don't know who or what Sanela is.
Got another call and text today "0476 857 284" asking me to contact again. I just texted back that I have no idea who or what Sanela is.

It's a debt collector , If you Ask them they have to acknowledge they are debt collector.

I had a missed call from the above number, then I received a text message 61 476 857. 284 with the following message:

Hi could you please contact Amber on (08) 6477 1862 in relation to Wendy. Alternatively, please pass on this message for them to contact me as soon as possible. Thank you.

I was suspicious and texted asking who they were and why couldn’t they contact Amber themselves. I received no response.. I then contacted my FB friend Wendy to check she was ok. She was fine and didn’t know an Amber. Seems they were on my FB page but I’m confused as to how they got my details and friend’s name as my profile is set to private.

Always contact your friends directly, don’t call any unknown numbers.

How do these companies get your details from Facebook. I got a message saying she need to speak to me. It was about a Facebook contact
