In bad english, a woman Said "there was an important call for me, trying to connect me now". Was still "trying to connect me now" 3 mins later, so I hung up.

Caller wanted me to confirm my full name, date of birth, address etc. I refused as I don't know who they are and incredibly suspicious that someone calling ME is asking ME to confirm who I am

Caller: A woman with an educated slight Indian accent

Said she was from Baycorp and acting for the Ambulance Service. Asking to confirm my DOB, and I refused. I asked what it’s about because I’ve never used an ambulance. She said it was a private matter and needed to confirm my details first. Told her to email any issues to me, but they said they couldn’t and must speak directly to me. At that point I let loose and told her to go and suck a dogs d*ck because I wasn’t giving any details to someone I have no idea who they are,,, I suspect a scam to obtain further personal info on top of the basic info they already have ,,,

Caller: Scott

Called and asked for a Nelson. I advised im not Nelson, then proceeded to ask for a Mitchell. I pointed out im not him either and then pointed out that this was different to the name he first asked. He asked who I was and I told him I wasn’t comfortable sharing that information. I asked who he was and he said Scott, and I asked where he was calling from he said Perth. I asked if he was calling from a company he said it was regarding a personal matter. I terminated the call, called back and got an ‘your call could not be connected’ message.

I called back number (08) 6424 0738 spoke to a guy who said company name is Baycorp.
