asking questions to enter competition

I've entered online competition?! My ass.

Scammers.

Indian called on this number (08) 6388 9986 asked for me by name to which I replied "speaking" as I will never say "yes" over the phone to anyone I don't know, he then said I had won some competition that I had supposedly entered & I knew it was a a scam. So I just hung up. Looked up the number & found 71 other complaints.

Getting calls in Adelaide same number same indian when I rang back on landline. Blocking as spam now

"Cassandra" just called, long delay before speaking. Asked for ###, said she was unavailable. She said she would call back when ### was available. Told her not to bother, I've already looked up her number and seen 51 complaints.

got a call from them. called back expecting either recording or dead line. got put through to an operator. told them to stop calling my f&*(*ing number then hung up. will keep it up. see how they like it!

Just missed a call from this number. New phone so didn't know if it was a friend.

When I asked what one, never heard of it. The ended the call very quickly

Stupid me thought I had actually entered the competition and agreed to have them call me back.
I've since had phone calls from "iPrimus" and "Dodo" offering internet options. They were extremely pushy and wouldn't take no for an answer but thankfully I didn't sign up to anything or give out credit card details.

After reading the above I've blocked the numbers.

I'm normally the type that laughs at others who get caught out by these pricks so i'm feeling pretty angry with myself right now!

Just received a very 'friendly" call from a lady on this number. She introduced herself and where she was from. Told her to go away, not exactly in those terms though, and she said "no need to be rude" and hung up.

Called me this morning.... i said hello, no response.... just silence.... next time Ima scream down the phone at them

OMG! They have got to be kidding me. It's a scam don't fall for it. They have tried calling me numerous times to tell me I entered a competition and that I had won something. Do they really think people are THAT stupid?

They use to ring me every day, then it stopped and it started again today... What the ? is wrong with Australian phone lines ? dont know why these marketers cant get a life hey

Missed call 9.21am today

Have had around 8 calls in the past week at least one a day except on Sunday. Its getting so annoying. As all the others say they ask for you by name and say you entered an online competition. They all have the gap before they speak and have an accent and hard to understand the name of the company. I hang up before they get further than you entered an online conpetition except last time when I said no I didn't. Spam.
