warning dangerous scammer hang up immediately

Caller: Didn’t catch name

Phone call to my mobile stating they were from a government agency wanting to inform me my mobile number had been associated with illegal activities in California and Mountain View. They mentioned two credible government websites to do with cyber security. They then wanted me to put them on speaker and open google…I then ended the call. They were very persistent that this needed to be dealt with immediately Anne are calling back (I have blocked number). They didn’t ask (or have a chance to ask) for personal information. They did say I had been emailed 15 times with regards to this matter when I asked. Person speaking had a foreign accent and it sounded like a busy call centre.

Called and didn’t leave a message

saying was VISA and i bought $900 in BITcoin - dont have a VISA - called them back 23 times to hassle them and not leave a message and hang up LOL

I found this number on my message bank, and then decided to look it up, to find out if this number is used by scammers and sure enough it has been used by scammers.

Caller: indian called "david" haha

Was asking about solar panels ...i asked if he was calling from india .. he said brisbane... caller ID shows thats a lie. Asked if i had solar panels on my roof ...told him they work better there than under the house ...he lost the script and started mumbling to someone alongside in hindi, so i hung up scam/phishing call obviously

I had this scam too but from a different number - it was fairly sophisticated but I soon saw the red flags

Tried to say calling from telstra re internet service being made public. Clearly SPAM type call

Hung up when answered. Obviously spam

This number called, did not leave a message and appears to be spam.

Called and said from Paypal and wanted to put $700 odd into my account. Just hung up

No response to my “hello” for quite some time, and caller didn’t identify herself, so hung up pdq. Felt very dodgy.

Missed call on my landline & no message left on my voicemail. All the hallmarks of a SCAMMER.

called missed call back, unclear audio message saying voice mail unavailable with non australian voice, suspected spam/ fraud call.
