Caller rings and when the call reaches voicemail they just hang up. Suspect scam/nuisance call. Thanks to those that post here. Have blocked and deleted.

Second time today I got this scam recorded call claiming to be from Visa that there was a suspicious $900 amount charged to my account. Previously it purported to come from (07) 2113 2499. Serial pests no doubt spoofing numbers.

Samsung phone identified this as a 'Potential Fraud'. So, googled it and found this helpful website 👍

Rang on mobile @ 1pm saying call from Perth. Didn't leave msg on VM so checked here & found. Likely a scammer. Number now blocked.

Scam - Claimed to be from the Immigration Department and there is an anomoly in my Visa Application

An off shore call centre scammer who said he was from Telstra. He wanted to help me with my Telstra internet. He hung up when I said ‘that’s funny because I don’t have the internet’ Blocked.

I got rang by this number, claimed from Perth. I’m at the opposite side of the country and know no one from there.

They ran a little then suddenly hang up before left to voicemail. They ran again, got left to voicemail and it’s a Chinese bot. If u see this number ringing you don’t do anything. Just a waste of time. Don’t believe a thing they “say” :)

called also yesterday silent, and hang up, test to see if i would pick up. now blocked

Rang 26/2. No message. Obvious scam/phishing call.

voice recording to say they were from paypal for a suspected fraudulent transaction from paypal/ press 1 to approve press 2 to cancel etc

Scam call, claiming to be from 'Telstra' saying that my 'computers IP has been sending warning messages'. Same scam as the Microsoft Tech Support one which went around a few years ago. Trying to get you to spend money on some fake antivirus.
