Caller: Told me it was Amazon

Tried to tell me I had a phone ordered in the USA on my Amazon account.

Caller: Scammers pretending to be amazon

they pretend that there is a transaction on your amazon account, and they are there to fix it. they talk you through all the pages to get you to change your account password, but then try to get you to log into a remote desktop so they can fix it. but then is when i picked up there was no way allowing them into my computer. Indian fraudsters

Claimed to be from Amazon and wanted me to install a remote desktop control app. Stuffed around with them for over half an hour lol before they hung up. Hopefully the time wasted will go towards preventing someone else being scammed. G'day!

Automated voice call saying I had made an order with EBAY.

Called and screamed and then laughed before hanging up.

Answered call but they hung straight away, some sort of spam?

Picked up phone call and decided not to speak but hung up after couple of seconds. Didn't hear any sound or voice on the other end.
