Scam call claiming a $99 charge will be applied to renew an Amazon account.

Told me that a paypal account went through this morning and I was about to lose $4727 to John Smith in USA. I dont have a paypal account and no amounts were listed as transferring in the morning. Told me an old email address of mine that no longer worked. I laughed and challenged them to try and get a message to me using that email. They hung up.

Very rude scammer! As soon as I answered the call and asked who I was talking to, he abruptly instructed me in a strong foreign accent that ‘he will speak first and then I can speak’! I immediately hung up and blocked the number.

Missed call - tried to call it back (from another line) and it can't be connected.... scam

Called to stay my Internet was compromised and was set to Public not Private. I hung up and contacted Telstra directly and advised all my services were fine and they hadn't made the call.

Left a message - sounded like Chinese. blocked

Run to call saying an amount of $400 was pending for a transaction to the USA from Commonwealth Bank and that the IP address was unknown. Asked how many devices I use for internet banking. Wanted my IP address on my mobile and PC to ensure it was not 'Black Listed'. I 'played along' for a minute or so then stated I knew they were a scammer and hung up.

Says that he is from the Visa Department and wants to know if I had made two overseas payments for $25.00 and over $700 Dollar'this morning. Told him I sort it out with the bank, and hanged up.

The usual scamming call making an attempt to get your details.

Pretended I didn't know they were a scam, told them i was an officer and they told me to shut up.

Automated message from Visa/Mastercard advising me a sum of money was coming out of my account $1130 odd- cant remember exact figure. press 1 to cancel press 2 to confirm the charge. I pressed the little red buton at the bottom that shut her up.
