I changed my number to hidden & called this number back - a man with an Indian accent answered & said "hello" so I put my best robot voice on & said oh hello sir, it appears your credit card has been used fraudulently on ebay & Amazon services, $666 has been spent, if you wish to receive a return of funds all you need to do is provide your card details & we will process the reimbursement immediately. He got angry & started yelling. In my normal voice I told him my story was more believable than the ridiculous story involving the "debt & federal prison" message he left on my voicemail when he called me earlier. I then told him to get effed and HE hung up lol

On the basis of this site I did not respond and blocked

American-voiced robot claimed ‘fraudulent activity on my card’ $400 Amazon, $1200 international $ transfer…
So sick of these stupid calls!
VM left last week, from Peru (???) said if I didn’t action #1 I’d be arrested within 24 hours 🙄 🥱 Reported to scam watch, block, delete!!

Called a couple of times didn’t leave a message. Blocked the number now.

Recorded message with an American accent. The message was that there was fraudulent activity going on using my name. Obviously a scam. I hung up and have blocked the number.

Recorded message - male with an American accent saying there were fraudulent activities in my name and there is a warrant for my arrest if I didn't comply with his directions.

Just received a call from this number when I answered they were silent and then hanged up. When I phoned back the number was not in use. Obviously a scammer. You can thank Telstra again for not blocking these and giving these scammers access to all our phone numbers.

Robot call advised me that there I have committed some sort of Federal Offense.

Good. Just received a message from the same phone number that I owed money and had the debt collectors coming after me if I did not press one.

So obvioulst a scammer!!!
