they hung up when I answered

Said they were calling from the federal government (could barely speak English), asked if I had solar panels, wanted to help me get the solar rebate. When I said the federal government doesn’t cold-call to offer rebates, he then switched to saying they were ‘linked’ with the federal government. Told him straight I call bullsh!. He was very persistent and wanted to send someone in person to verify if I was eligible for the rebate. I ended up hanging up because I got bored of the conversation.
