Caller: Scammer Service NSW impersonation scam. Red flags: the phone's area code is outside NSW, and the number they called isn't the one I registered with Service NSW.
She (female, Indian accent) claimed to be from Service NSW and detected that my driver's license details have been used on the Optus website. I asked for a reference number and an official phone number to call them back. Her initial response was that she will call me back later but when I asked again, she gave me the Service NSW 1300 number and a 6-digit reference number. I called Service NSW and they confirmed that this is an impersonation scam. The scammer was trying to get me to confirm my details with them.

Caller: Indian IT Support Indian IT Support. Starts the scam with a few questions then hung up when I said don’t bother me Im a systems engineer.
