Con job: stating that this relates to my recent accident... Don't return call. I have not had an accident!

had a missed call and called the number back .... reached a recorded message saying it was steve from the claim centre calling about the incident i had been involved in. Absolutely disgusting that these sorts of scams are still happening.

Recorded message from "Steve" with an Aussie accent. Wanting to know if I've been involved in an accident. Press 1 if had an accident.

This is a scam insurance call from a Steve from the 'Claims Centre'. It doesn't even tell you which company it is for, and you get a recording voice message, asking if you have been involved in accidents. They are possibly trying to get your personal details, including credit card pretending to give out claim money.

I answered and they hung the phone up straight away, does this mean my phone is hacked???

Automated message that someone had an accident. Made us panic, ringing relatives to check. What a horrible scam this is.

I called back the number (08) 6255 5659 and reached vm that did not mention the company name
