Caller: Charity Choice did not get the name of the "male" voice

The voice used repeated phrases word for word no or very little intonation in voice. Apologised for sounding like an AI voice and continued in the same voice. they wanted to confirm details like street name postcode state age group etc. obvious phishing.
Called from this phone number 0400 542 359 . rang it and got an automated response not enough staff on hand to take your call etc

Quite active in New Zealand, also.
I just hang up. Maybe next time I will have some fun with them ...

She just called me again. Had previously told her I would go to website and donate from there, which I did not do as I suspected a scam. This time I said I had already made donations to charities
recently which was true so I would not be able to donate to one she was calling about. It was like she had not heard me. She said that's good and continued on in her sunny voice about making donation. I thought what a pushy bitch and hung up. Now I know this pushy bitch is not real. When she calls again I will have a bit of fun untill she bores me. Best thing though is to hang up and never give out any personal details to anyone. They collect it all bit by bit and sell it, use it to steal from you.
Offers of free money, inheritence from someone you don't know but you have to pay something to get it. Your computer is infecting others and they can fix it but they need to gain remote access first. Just hang up. They are all scams. Now there are Australians meeting people in parking lots to hand over money because they were told they had to otherwise they'd go to jail. Since when have Indian taxi drivers become mules for the Australian police force and since when have police called people they need to pay money to get out of a crime they never committed. If it sounds really strange hang up or if it sounds too good to be true hang up as well.

Yeah, I knew there was something was off when I got around half way thru the 1.5 to 2.0 min conversation. Weird the responses, but they were farming for information and when I replied or said something negative there was a pause, and stright back into, "That's good..." Just like Anonymous's post above. I'm the type of guy that does political surveys, that sort of thing, and that threw them, took them some time to say it was not a survey, but it knew.
I consider myself mostly in the dark, but I can smell a scam, especially on the phone.

Came in on my landline. Not many here in Australia still have a landline, and these calls are a reason why they don't. But they will come to our mobiles soon, and the better aware we all are, it's obvious. I feel for those that know less than i do, so please share this info about Lisa, etc.

This is a SCAM you think you are talking to a real person but you are not .. I told them I will give them a million Buck to stop calling ,, JUST HANG UP

Received 2calls from them one an (03) number and another an (07) number, Lisa from charity survey, and when I asked how I can know she is who she said she was.....her (?) reply was and I quote “I have not been trained to answer this question”. Obviously a clever computerised voice. Mycharitysurvey is a subsidiary of Datagen which has a registered address in Tel Aviv, Israel. Definitely bad news.

As previously mentioned, the Charity Choice call is a quite convincing human voice and with fast and appropriate responses. When I asked if it was a machine talking, it said something along the lines "Oh I should take that as a compliment."

I said I would refuse some answers if they were personal. I refused the age group question and it readily said that was OK we can skip that, then immediately asked my street name. I managed to keep it on the line with a bit longer but on the third attempt at the address it gave up with a thank you.

Under Clients & Partners there is no entry yet their history says they launched in Australia in 2011.
Terms and conditions say "Charity Choice collects personal information when respondents participate in our charity survey"
But the Code of Ethics (HA!) says: "does not conduct market research survey calls"

Their website is not in Australia it is charitychoice-au dot com and registered in the Phillipines.

I am categorizing this as SCAM because they gather your details to on-sell to charities, and then probably do the get the job of calling you for the same charities.

Give them nothing and use up their time. Ask what time is it in their timezone? How's the weather? What's the capital of Peru? How much is that doggie in the window? Why not try out your pronounciation of foreign phrases. Particularly rude ones.

I keep receiving calls from ‘Lisa Collins’. I’ve asked the caller (purportedly Lisa Collins) to remove me from their database. I still get calls. I am sick of it.

Five calls in the last few days, I said stop calling me and I hung up. Previously I had only said hello and then either waited until she stopped talking or hung up.

Lisa Collins from Charity survey ... ringing at all different hours of the day and night. using Phishing numbers. Finally very rude and told her to take my number off her list.

This number has called my husband several times. Ended up having to get rude about not wanting to answer any questions as we are on family time. My advice.. hang up and block the number. Continue to block any number that this 'charity' tries to call you on.

Annoying. Block number, keep calling from diff numbers. How do you stop ?

So sick of these calls. Called from 2 landline numbers which I blocked, and is now calling from a private number. 3 days in a row I've told them I'm on the Do Not Call Register but they keep bloody calling! So sick of it
