Been ringing me here on the east coast , from a number in Perth for days. No message ever left. Answered today - said they were from Telstra- knew my name and the plan I'm on. Tried to get me to change plans which would save me $3 a month - and they'd throw in telstra tv ( which we already have) - or a Samsung galaxy ???
Said I wasn't interested! Still not sure whether a scam or not .woman was quite convincing- however I don't trust anyone marketing on the phone anymore.

Ricki claimed to be from Telstra sales. I mentioned I do not want more products until the current complaints are resolved. Ricki was not interested in resolving the current complaints I have with Telstra as she could not access my account and then she hung up.

Send an invoice to Telstra for your costs incurred. Maybe then a class action could be put together at alater time.

As always ask for their number to call them back, when they wont give you one, you know its a scam, if they do give you one, cross check to Telstras website direct.

They are a scam.

when I called back datos they were from Telstra and you automatically get switched to an automated service which asks for your name and phone number and then it transfers you to a person that keeps asking if you can hear them.

They Are A Scam, of sorts

They will claim to be from Telstra, they will try to get you to purchase extra products you don't need. They particularly like to prey on the elderly. Unethical at best, illegal at worst. Telstra know but refuse to do anything about them.
Just block them.

they're not telstra affiliated, after my call I rang Telstra Business and was informed that they are trying to sign you over the their company, it's a scam and Telstra are aware of it.

Have received a call every day at about the same time for the past 5 days. Answered the first two times and the caller hung up each time. Have refused to answer any calls since.

I just thank them very much for the call, congratulate them on their persistence, ask how I can help and if they would like to buy some shares in an off shore oil drilling company. If they haven't hung up by that time I simply ask them to hold for a moment so I can attend to other calls and leave the phone by the TV so they can listen as long as they like to re runs of I Love Lucy or something similar.
