Rings but no one answers. Appears to disconnect as soon as I answer

Never answer a return call to test the number.

They let the phone ring twice so you call them back and the charge is then your!

Rings a couple of times - no message left - disconnects if I call back - I think it is a spam call

Answered phone at work and they hung up. This has happened twice. This number has been blocked so now will always get an engaged signal.

Answered a call from this number. Advised from caller said that they were 'TGA, who look after your Telstra telephone accounts & want to confirm your account details'. (contact person, address, email, abn etc. refused to confirm any details & hung up.

Calls at least twice a week - never leaves a message, only rings twice or three times - apparently it's "Telstra" but others have reported that it's now TGA, misrepresenting itself as Telstra?
