Called me and asked for me or my fiancé by name. Said he was looking for my fiancé's old boss (also by name) and saw that my fiancé is connected to him via FB and as I am connected to him he wanted me to pass on his number to get my fiancé's old boss to contact them urgently. When I asked how he had my phone number he said he got it off a public database and when I prompted more he said he got it off TICA which makes no sense as there is no reason for me to be on the TICA database. Very very suspicious. I called back after looking here and got put through to another woman who was insisting on adding notes to my file but I needed to "confirm details with her". I didnt give her any details, and instructed her not to call my number again. Will be blocking.

Same situation just got a call from Ben Pioneer Credit who found my details via social media (FaceBook) apparently and asking me to get into contact with a very old friend
All my settings are on private, I have no contact with my old school friend other than FB. I have blocked this number

I called back number (08) 6214 4440 rang 5 times then goes to busy tone.

Same - Ben pioneer credit calling my parents, 'friends' on facebook when my profile is blocked and I have changed my number so someone must have caved and given it to him. I have blocked all his numbers and texts. Had several calls from family and friends saying he has been calling them too which is annoying! They do not need to be disturbed or worried about this.

I rang back the number (08) 6214 4440, spoke with someone who hung up right away

Some guy saying he needs to get in touch with someone I’ve never even heard of. Saying it’s urgent and I need to call him back ASAP. Says she goes under a different name as well. Glad I read these comments before calling him back. Definitely NOT calling him back

Left a voicemail for me (used my name) saying he was urgently looking for someone I'd never heard of and said he thought I could help him in this matter. Asked me to call him back. Seems very suspicious. I did not call back and have blocked the number.
