Scam caller from Claims Dept

I got a call from this number. I let it go through to message bank - but suprise, suprise no message was left. I called the number back and got a recorded message saying it was "Harry" from Moss Brothers Wines and he wasn't available to take my call right now. Obviously a scam!!

Like other users, have had many calls from similar numbers. Did not answer and they left no message.

this number and also 0435 889 451 told them to f off but now they use other numbers

I keep getting these as well, I just registered my mobile on the do not call register, wonder if that will stop it? I'll try blocking as well.

I got a recorded message from a claims department so I quickly hung up. Another scammer blocked!

Caller: Scottish accent very strong - claims dept

I regularly block this number, sometimes calls come daily. It says to press 2 to have your number removed, I do it every time. The calls keep coming, blocked or not. Today I pressed one to speak with someone and explained I keep blocking and pressing option 2. He said he will remove my name from the list. Time will tell!

Another claims scam just hung up.

Answered call. 'They' terminated the call immediately. Assigned a 'scam' ID to their number in my phone.

Returned to a missed called, spoke to a Scottish man that claimed I have had a car accident then a work place accident then said he was transferring me when I hung up

'Calling about your vehicle,' I stopped her there, so I imagine insurance scam... again

Said that a member of my family had been involved in an accident and would transfer me to claims department. I said "Fu¢£ Off" and hung up!

I have had numerous calls from Perth numbers all similar. Have been blocking caller but the numbers change and receive another. Have called them back and the number is not connected.

Had this call several times now, but keeps coming through on different numbers. Usual pre-recorded rubbish using someone with what seems to be an Australian accent: "G'day. This is Amanda from the claims department. ..." At which point I hang up. No use blocking the number as they simply come through on another. Bloody annoying!
