Caller: The caller claimed he was calling from Telstra Got a call from (08) 6186 7589. The caller claimed he was from telstra NBN. He stated that my internet was generating errors. I asked if he could send me the details by email. How should I investigate if this was genuine?

Called telling me something was wrong with my wifi router. Asked me to stand in front of it and tell me what colour the light was. I asked what company he was with and he said Telstra. I told him we are not with Telstra and he hung up… DODGY!
