Another/new WA phone number called today without leaving a message. Similar scenario to all of the previous numbers blocked.

Scammers pretending to be from the Fraud department of VISA/ Master cards saying there is a charge of $200 on Amazon. I ask them to confirm my address and which Bank institution my card is linked to.
They wanted me to confirm my details first! to make sure I was the right person. They hung up when they knew they could go no further.

9/3/22 recording saying that the call was from visa Mastercard and some one had transferred $6978.25 to western union and press 1 to accept or press 2 to talk to some one I ignored and deleted message screams scam these people are just the dog sh*t of humanity.

Pleased I didn't answer. It looks like this number had been used for scam calls for a couple of years. Have now blocked.

Caller claimed to be from Telstra. The caller used technical terms out of context, so an obvious scam.

I've had multiple "hang up" calls today and this is one of them. Have no doubt it's scammers!

Scam caller from 'Telstra' asking about 'Internet' - I dont have a service or account with them...

Scam. Claims to be Coles supermarket.

Absolute scam call. Person said he was from fraud protection and asked whether I had made a payment of $x to Amazon. I told him I wasn't answering his question because it was a scam call. He hung up.

Scam caller from CBA, dont pick up or waste your time. Ask them to give me my account number if they were from CBA, obviously they didn't have it.

It’s a scam. Don’t answer.

Rang our landline twice and hung up immediately after we answered.

There was a long silent pause after answering before a recorded message said "Goodbye" and hung up. Odd.

Answered this call today thinking it was another important call I was waiting for - a male said he was from an accident claim organisation and that he can see I have been in a car accident recently (I haven’t). Scam!
