Said NBN but scam

They said it was telsta

said that they were from commbank and that there had been a questionable transaction on my account. when i said that i didn't have a commbank account they hung up. scam call

Call reporting an unsolicited transaction on my Visa/Mastercard. Pressing 1 connects you to a call centre. Typical Indian scam. They hung up when I questioned their parentage.

said they were from Amazon, something about payment. I hung up the call and blocked

It is a computer generate voice and claimed that they are ANZ. They want me to approve a $1299 transaction. And ask me to press "1" to proceed. I would love to approve but sadly I only have $200 in my account :P

Has called twice, first time I answered and there was an automated message about a transaction which allegedly needs my attention. This time I did not take the call, no voice mail was left. It is scam!

Caller: Claiming to be eBay

Noisy call centre number came up as Perth . Asked me if I had made a $500 purchase through eBay with a destination address to California. Let them talk for about a minute and they were pretty convincing and claiming that they wouldn’t ask for any personal information but could imagine it would lead to that… Ended up telling them that I wasn’t comfortable with the conversation and hung up. See now that this number has been flagged for numerous scam types Four different large organisations glad I hung up.

im in NZ and was called by this number, i answered and no one was there. i hung up and blocked the number and google got me here.

claimed to be from ebay customer support
raved on about ip addresses .

Said that they were from the Comm Bank. nope!

Did not answer, no message. Checked here to confirm number is a well known scam number. Blocked.

Super fishy this one - block and forget.

Called and claimed to be Telstra, asked to be put on speakerphone and wanted to walk through steps via Google. Definite scam

Caller just rings a few time then hangs up. No voicemail left. After checking this site, obviously scam/unsolicited call/nuisance. Have blocked and deleted. Thank you all.

Didn’t answer and caller didn’t leave a voicemail. Now on checking this site, will block.

Said they were from the “technical department” from NBN and someone had been using our internet. Hung up at that point as it’s untrue. Scam call

Scam, recording saying, my Amazon Prime was expiring and would be automatically taken from credit card, I hung up.
