looks like a scam call leaving messages that I will be charged for. blah, blah, blah. I don't have any business in WA.

I don't know anyone in WA so didn't answer it - guessing this caller was a scammer but they didn't get an answer here !!!!

Caller: commonwealth bank security

Answered the call and got greeted this is so and so from the high security department of the Commonwealth Bank. I just hung up.

I was already on a call at the time this number called me.
If someone leaves a message I listen to it then decide it its scam spam or charity. Most times I block and delete. If its a genuine call they usually leave a message

Rang, I answered but rang off after short "How are we today" and my disparaging reply.
Rang back but couldn't connect - probably fake number and scam caller
