Trying to charge me $299 for a non existent ebay purchase.

Didn’t answer but googled and found they were scammer

Male with Indian accent asked for “Joan Andrews”. I advised he had the wrong number and he replied “This is not the wrong number ma’am”. I told him “Well, that’s not my name” and hung up. Blocking the number.

Looks like this number is still actively scamming/spamming, I didn't answer since I know no one in Perth WA

Caller Male, Heavy indian accent, stated he was from Telstra. I asked him for his phone number, ID number and department he was calling from, he replied, "I am not telling you anything." I said you are just a scammer, he hung up.

Caller: Said they were Amazon.

Offered to help cancel Amazon… asked me to put a website up on my computer. I recognised the site …it gives them remote access to your computer!!! They even tried a second site. Same! These are .exe files they will install . DON’T!

Said from Australia financial securities saying someone hacked my phone. Demanded I open google input his Alias so he could fix my phone. Stuttered didn't know his story. Very poor English. Indians on phone in background on other scam calls. Was the crook a bloke on the movie Bee Keeper in the scam con artist call centre

Woman with Indian accent saying she was from Vodafone doing a deal where you get 40% off bill if you pay a year up front. When I said no she hung up immediately. Scam.

Scammers be aware , telling me error with internet connection

Caller: “Angela from the Security of Visa and Mastercard”

Brief silence, then a “hello” and, when pressed for who it is, “This is Angela from the security at Visa and Mastercard.” Based on all the other reports here, whoever owns this number really isn’t trying very hard to be convincing.

Caller: Male with Indian accent, claimed he was from Comm Bank

The guy wanted to "verify" if I made an overseas transaction of $400. I told him that I would verify it by myself by calling back the bank and hung up the phone.

Scammer! Very angry after being called out! Blocked!

They just called me but didn't leave a message.

Caller: Indian call centre mimicking a WA number

Indian man calling from WA??? I got him to admit he was calling from India and he worked for Telstra in their nbn technical department and they would cancel my nbn in 12 hours time. Knowing he was a scammer, I said "thats OK, cancel it if you have to" and I hung up on him. I blocked his number. 2 days have passed and everything is OK, proving he was trying to scam me.

Called 2:35PM. Female Indian accent. Said was from some insurance company. I hung up after they said that.
