Scam call from woman with foreign accent claiming to be from Telstra and wanting to fix problem with my internet speed. I went along with them for 18 minutes. She put me through to a "technician" who wanted my IP address and for me to install anydesk.com to give him remote access to my PC. I gave him the wrong address, and once he got really frustrated, told him he was the vermin of the internet.

They call. I don't recognise the number so let it go through to message bank. They don't leave a message. Oh well, another scammer averted. :-)

Caller: (fake) Telstra

Claimed to be from Telstra. Said there was virus on our computer causing issues with the network. Wanted access to our computer to fix the problem. When questioning them on our account details with Telstra they hung up.

Caller: I don’t know

Suspected scam, unknown number & didn’t leave a message.

Looks like this scammer is on the loose again!! The call rang out. I didn't bother answering the call

Called claiming to be from Amazon security, asking if family/friends had access to my account and if I knew if anyone from California. They then asked for a verification code which I then received from Amazon - however sms told me not to share with anyone. Felt in my gut that something wasnt right, so just hungup. Super suss

Live in Vic but this is from perth. Picked up the phone then no answer and right away disconnected by them

Caller claiming to be from Amazon, wanting to confirm an order I had apparently placed the night before via my iPhone so it could be processed.
I hadn’t placed an Amazon order the night before, and have never had Amazon call to confirm any orders so immediately hung up.
Poor attempt at a scam.

Unfortunately this number is still operating! My phone's App blocked this number automatically.

Answered. Nobody talking, noisy background. Scam!

This number and another from a different state followed up seconds later. Didn’t answer either call and no message left either. Spam calling

claimed to be ebay and said a confirmation of order. i hung up and blocked

Claimed to be Commonwealth Bank about an overseas transaction. Scam call. Came from a call centre judging from the background noise and I don’t even bank with commonwealth

Scam. Claimed to be Amazon about a purchase. Hung up and blocked them.

Scammer not claiming to be from Amazon. Said Prime membership was about to be renewed when i still had almost a year. do not answer

Didn't answer as I didn't know the number. Left no message.
