Visa International talking about processing a payment for me - don't have a visa card, so hung up

I had a call from an Indian sounding male. He said there was a problem with my internet. I told him I couldn’t understand him very well. After I told him this several times, he then told me to get f##ked. .

Caller: Telstra Customer Service Manager

Advised me Telstra Internet line was faulty and wanted me to check my speeds on a special site and then go onto another site and enter my router details. - Seriously…. I am NOT a TELSTRA customer and they even said we are doing this as a favour as I am a good customer of theirs who never complains… Well my friend I have just started… Calls are continuous, 4 different numbers from Victoria and one from Perth.

Asian voice said "my name is Jason". I asked which scam mob he was with and the rude sod hung up.

Caller: Scam

Call from Perth number. Recorded message saying my phone service will be cancelled soon. Got the same type of call from another Perth number the day before. Blocked and reported.

Caller claimed to be from NBN saying that hackers had access to my internet and that they were using it for fraudulant purposes. When I challenged him on this he got cranky and said they were going to block my internet, I said go ahead and hung up. My internet still works... nice try losers......... :)

Recorded message to say "There has been a suspicious on-line transaction for over $1,000 on your Visa or MasterCard, please press 1."
We would expect a call from the relevant bank, not from "Telstra" ! Scam !

Scam. Pretending to be Amazon Prime

Who ever is at the other end didn't speak straight away once I said hello so I hung up.... It's frustrating when I am waiting for an important phone call and I have to answer to Dodgy telly marketing scammers just incase because I can't miss my call

My mobile warns that it is "potential fraud", so I'll go with that and block the number. (For all the good it does!) Grrrr!!
