Called and wanted me to open my ipad to put in a code in to stop a $800.00 transaction coming out of my act going to someone in America. I told him if he is the manager of the security department of the commonwealth bank he should be able to stop the transaction. I then hung up and rang back. I could not get thru. Googled the number and discovered this page hence this message cheers.

Answered caller but person on other end did not respond and hung up after 35 seconds.

Don't know anybody in Perth, caller did not leave message, suspect a scam call, now blocked.

Called to tell me that my NBN is having problems, when I said we weren't having issues I was told that I don't understand the "technicalities."
Definitely a call from overseas but smart for making it seem like it's coming from a Perth number.
