They called and I heard a beep with people in the backgrounds, and I answered asking how I can help them. He replied “you can’t” and hung up.

Scam. Indian woman claiming she is from NBN.

Called and didn’t leave a message.

Caller: Some loser

Claimed to be from Telstra

Same - local number but no answer - clearly dodgy - Number should be blocked or canceled

Caller: ostensibly "Harry" from Telstra

Obviously a cold call. The usual pause after you answer while they disconnect the other numbers they have dialled.
