Said he was from the fraud department in Sydney and asked to speak to me. I laughed and said "no you can't" and he hung up. I tried to ring back but got nothing.

Got a call saying, I was from Sydney's new age feltchers. Said I wasn't interested and hung up

Said they were from Telstra and wanted to talk to me about my internet… I’m not with Telstra

probably a scammer. no message left when my phone unanswered. Call blocking from unknown numbers makes no difference.

didn't answer......tried to ring back just nothing, no dial tone nothing....obviously another attempt at scamming

Called and hung up. From the other people who have reported this number, looks like this number has been quiet for a year. Guess this means they are starting again.

Caller: Scammer callback from (02) 9069 4856

First call from (02) 9069 4856 with heavy Indian accent, saying was from Commonwealth Bank to notify of fraudulent transaction. Tried very hard to get me to go to their URL to "download more security measures" to protect against fraudulent transactions. Hung up on them but they called back immediately from this number. Kept trying to make me download their software and run my transactions through them, including 'transferring me to a manager'. Strung them along for ~25 minutes then hung up.

The time telecos acted to stop scammers acquiring voip or spoofing numbers is long overdue.

She said she called regarding my computer which had been hacked I laughed I asked if she’s from ASIO or CIA and she said she’s trying to help me I said give me money then, she then raised her voice and said “listen!” I said “no you listen, never call me again!” She said “what? What are you gunna do?” So I told her off and hang up. WTH who are these people?
