Scam call from someone claiming to be from Origin Energy Trying to get personal details.
This is an obvious fishing scam which seems to have either caught some people or reviews have been left here by the scammers themself.

The most usless electrical, gas and internet company ever. I have been for months trying to chat with someone witg regards to payment plan to nk avail. Their chat online thing is usless and i dint have all day to wait around for a reply only to have a stupid question asked when i answer it it take sometimes hours for a reply. I have tried e-mailing asking for an arranged time to call and they call me straight away which isng convieniet.
I have also tried to set up payment plan but they wouldnt except my repayments amount they stated there was a minimum. ( they wanted $10 more than I was offering or that I can afford )
Then I called them back the other week finally got a hold of somebody the person stated thank you for taking my call when I was one that called I explained everything and then the phone cut out you think that would call you back but no nothing until today three weeks later I've had two missed calls in the past hour which I haven't been able to take because I'm at work really unprofessional

Prefix for 08 is also WA not just SA

Perth’s is also 08 genius

What makes you think it’s a scam and not really original?

It’s not a scam, and having actually not just assumed and having just sorted an issue with Origin I had with this number, I can safely say it’s not a scam lol (I’m not THE scammer either ??!)

Scam caller from Origin wants bill paid - we are not with origin and don’t owe them money.
Don’t give them any details.

It says it is Western Aust call but has a SA prefix of 08. I also get pi$ed off when they answer with a recorded message.
