Just got a call from this number, it was ringing when I picked it up at the other end, then hung up. Why cant any authorities do anything about these nuisance calls? It seems they are above the law when it comes to DONOTCALL register as well???

Missed a call on my mobile, i rang back on landline because bad signal here. Left a message to call me back but i never gave my name :)
Next thing the landline rings and its a respectful "copper" calling me Sir asking for $$ for PCYC

AND getting my name & address in the process. Nice try telemarketeers for NGO charities, but if youre self-employed, youre not that bl**dy stupid!

Annoying phone calls from this number to my mobile. I believe they have a system that automatically dials phone numbers on their list and if one of their operators is available when you answer the call connects to them otherwise you get silence.

A guy called me a few minutes ago claiming he worked for Telstra and was from the Yellow Pages and he wanted to verify my name, address, etc - I refused to tell him and I said "If you really work for Telstra, then you already have all of this information", at which point he became hysterical and abusive. Rude, stupid, and a con artist. Do NOT trust these con artists !

Have been missing calls from this number a few times finally today get to answer, but same as above mentioned it rings like transferring you to another call. Hung up immediately after hearing the ring. No question. Totally annoyed.

These guys are scammers who use technology to look like the call originates in Australia, that's why you hear the ring first if you answer, why they don't leave messages and why you can't call them back. They are not genuinely from Yellow Pages.

What I want to know is why the telecommunications company who allows them to use the Aus number can't shut them down!

This was yellow pages. When I answered the phone, it started dialing another number. After 10 rings a guy picked up and said that he was from yellow pages and wanted to talk to me about my business listing, and then questioned me about my business category - having no idea what the category meant. Politely I explained what the category was, and said 'I'm okay to talk but I'm not interested in paying anything more for advertising'. Sounding like an illiterate teenager trying to sound smart, he then rudely said 'well the conversation's probably mute then is'n it'. He then quickly ran over my stats, and then said 'so ya not interested in having any more business then?'. Seriously! Please understand that as a small business owner I get upteen calls and emails every week from people wanting to sell me stuff. Please don't be rude to me because I don't want to buy anything, it could actually be that I can't afford it... or am not interested in paying for anything else.

Same problem as everyone else, they call & hung up when I answered. They have done this multiple times over a number of months. Between them and all the bloody Indians who ring all the time, I don't answer the phone anymore.

Rings repeatedly, leaves a voicemail message saying nothing. When try to call back it says NTC solutions not available. Seems dodgy.

Got a call from this number at 9:53. It sounded like it was on speaker and then was ringing like it was being transfered. Then it hung up. I have now blocked the caller. Annoying is an understatement when you are at work

Who the hell is this loser?! Same deal as below - calling and not leaving a message and, when I return the call, there's not answer. Been happening on and off for about three weeks.

Just called me. As soon as I answered, it sounded like I was transferred to someone who answered and then hung up. Grr!!

I have told these people to pull me out of thier call database. However there is a blatant disregard of the law and continue to call. I share the previous comments I wish they can kindly stop calling and Fxxx Off.

I'm getting calls from this number, they ring and hang up. Today they used a new number (08) 6151 2000. Same time exactly a week apart! I have my number on the do not call register.
