I had a message left on answering machine this morning which said "I'm representing the CDPP in this matter. You have been listed in a lawsuit on an ATO matter which relates to a financial cash transaction. Please ring (02) 6140 3419. He repeats the number. Please call John Matthews I am representing the CDPP on this urgent ATO matter.
This as you would expect is not an ATO matter

This is a SCAM saying they are from the ATO and demanding money and saying that there is going to be a warrant out for your arrest and are going to seize property and commence legal action. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY DETAILS OR INFORMATION. THIS IS NOT THE ATO (Australian Taxation Office)
