Caller: Recorded message using an American voice Began by claiming to be the Australian Taxation Office. Made some statement about ATO files and that I should take some action to avoid being prosecuted. I hung up immediately.

Said I was being investigated for defrauding Australian Taxation Office and do I have legal representation?. I don’t think so! Talked too fast to try to rattle me. When I continued to ask questions to seek clarity on who was calling they hung up.
