Caller: Scammer

This was a fake call pretending to be from the ATO. They tried to scare me with a warrant for my arrest for tax fraud.They asked me to pay $500 dollars to cancel the warrant. Because I told them I was suspicious, the guy Hanged up. I call the real ATO to report this and they told me it was a scam call. Complain has been lodge against the scammer.

Electronic message saying a warrant is out for my arrest because of tax fraud and to call back the number immediately if I don't want to be arrested.

Message left said I am being charged fir a tax fraud and a warrant is out fir me. If in don’t want that, call 08 720066.
