I put an ad on done deal yesterday and have been receiving texts from this number too
I have contacted the police and informed them thT several people have been harassed by the same person . They said they will get the contact details of the person .

This is crazy .. i have been getting texts from this number too .. exact same sequence of events as everyone is talking about on here - (08) 6204 2478 -  this is now 2014 and whoever is up to this is at it a long time ... its like the text message version of MTV catfish !!!

I have started getting these messages today....really is weird.  saying his name is james and we met in kilkenny, ive been no where near kilkenny.  Freak!  can no one report him?

Yes I got texted yesterday from this number a strange guy saying his name was James too saying he was given this number by someone..Etc.. very creepy indeed.. Is still contacting and texting me today...

Hi i just got text from that number with the same message Hello i asked who it was and he said james , i googled it and ended up  here aswell this is mad. i also have add on donedeal maybe its someone who targets people on it

I got a text from this number too. Text back saying wrong number. We have an undercover detective in our family so if I get any more I will be having this officially investigated. I would definitely recommend everyone reporting this, it's harressment.

got a message from this number saying hey replied a couple of times then said sorry u have the wrong number then got a reply saying o god sorry then didnt reply for a while go message again saying sorry who is this so replied saying the names paul got another reply s\aying who is this so very creepy someone needs to report him
