Caller: 'Telstra Tech Support'

These people claim to be from Telstra Tech Support - they get you to google 'show my IP address' and make scary claims that your IP address is hacked and at risk.

When asked to confirm any details about my identity or account with Telstra, they hung up.

Do not give out ANY personal information on the phone.

Definitely a scammer, don't answer!

Caller left a few seconds long voicemail of background noise, then hung up. Based on other feedback, glad I saved those few minutes of time wasting with another scammer.

Called me and claimed to be from Telstra support and I am not even with Telstra. Claimed that they work for all internet provider companies and is authorised to protect my IP, but cannot tell me who my internet provider is. Asked to type in show my IP in browser, that might be how they retrieve information.

Claims to be NBN and that you have technical difficulties. Cannot tell you which areas are being worked on and they fish for information about you.

Something about internet, then hanged up for no reason. Tried calling back, didn't answer.
