disconnected number that hangs up after 3 sec - they now know your number is alive and will call again & onsell to others!

Number is disconnected if you call back. If your answer, they hang up after 3 second. This is spammers checking for active numbers that answer, later you get bombarded by Tele. DO NOT ANSWER, BLOCK IMMEDIATELY

Called the number back 1 minute after they rang and got this verbal message Optus advises that the mobile number you called has been disconnected. Not a mobile so obviously a telemarketer. suggest this caller be blocked so as not to ruin your weekend

Has to be a spam because when you call back you get the message that "the number you dialed has been disconnected."
