Indian caller claiming to be from an accident claims company who couldn't provide me with an ABN.

The call came from Southport in Queensland.

Just received a call from this number , answered with my Employers Company and they hung up straight away

I got a call which only rang twice before they hung up. The area my phone said the call came from was Southport, Gold Coast (but I doubt that’s correct). I called back and it said that the number was either incorrect/incomplete or no longer connected. I get a lot of these calls which say they are not connected when you call them. Scam number

I let it go to message bank and they didn't leave a message.

Yes have had several calls from this number -Indian voice- he told me I was involved in a car accident -I haven't- and have told him to get lost as I knew this was a scam today he rang from a mobile number 0431 007 485 and knew my name! I'm fed p with this! blocked all the numbers but very annoyed that I don't like answering my phone from unknown numbers any longer.

Received a call today on my mobile from a Southport Gold Coast number and I answered thinking it was a call back from an online enquiry I had made.
I t was an Indian guy and asked if I lived at my physical address. Then asked I’d been involved in an accident and I said no immediately & knew this was a scam straight away it was a scam. Just told him no and hung up. Have had this type of call before and reported the numbers.

Ring numerous times when I do answer they say it is about an accident and I hang up. They wait a few weeks and ring again.
Why can't something be done to stop these people. If you ring the number it says it is invalid or incomplete.

this company just called me asking for business details.

Claim to be from a car insurance company. Was asking if I’d been involved in an accident. And wanted me to say who I was. I knew this was a scam straight away thanks to everyone here. Reported the number

Hello.... Hello.....

My child answered and said the person had there hand covering there mouth and said where are your parents which my child replied why? I straight away took the phone said hello hello …… then after four five times of me repeating hello they hung up not a sound on the other end besides rattling! Strange!!!!

An Indian man claimed he was from an insurance agency calling about my car accident. I haven’t been any car accident this is not the first time I’ve recieved a call like this.

Foreign man with barely any English asking about accident claims. Blocked now.
