Rattled on about Victorian government initiative regarding exhaust fans (why is ringing from other state for Victorian government?) Asked how may exhaust fans in my house.

I hung up on these spammers.

Victorian government initiative regarding exhaust fans, Their accents are not great, comes across rude, however I knew of the initiative and was happy to have them installed. Installer came out the next day, who was a certified electrician, spoke perfect English, was prompt, friendly and tidy, installed the exhaust fans, Thanks Dan, I'm sure I'll be paying for it my taxes.

Male caller with Indian accent wanted to know how many exhaust fans were in my house. Told him I wasn't interested in discussing it and hung up.

Extremely thick indian accent, calling about energy grants - will be in my area tomorrow ( the other end of the country to which i moved away from some 5 years ago ) did the standard talk over you, ( they are graded on how long they can keep you on the phone )

Dodgy... said they are "from the government" crapping on about exhaust fans and shower heads.
Sounds like the same dodgy conmen who are going door to door at the moment. These crooks barged through my 97 year old grandpa's front door saying they were from the government, and told him to "get out of the way old man"... they replaced his perfectly functional shower head with one that doesn't work. Poor bloke was having cold showers for a week.
Everytime the government creates these dumb incentive schemes it just encourages unqualified and immoral conmen to go around and harass people. And we the taxpayers are paying them for it... madness.

Answered this call and this person said his name was Michael,with difficult accent.,When I asked some questions about what this initiative was all about, I said I didn't understand, so then he put me onto his supervisor. He was confirming regarding Victorian Government exhaust fan. I also wondered why he was ringing from another state. He also said they were doing installations and upgrades in our area.

No name of company calling. Said I was on list for new shower heads etc. I said no I'm not, hung up and blocked. After reading previous posts, glad I did! Spam!

They have called three times already today. Haven't left a message. It's an Interstate call.

Called twice today. I didnt answer as this number is unknown to me. Possible scam.

Caller knew my name and I asked who he was and he was apparently from some government service in replacing exhaust fans to make my energy bills more efficient. I hung up and the number rang straight back so I blocked it

energy company wanting to give me a draft stopper or something - they did not care I was on the do not call register and continued to repeat that it was free etc, so I hung up on them
