Keep calling this week multiple times a day. How to block?

The easiest way of not receiving unwanted calls on mobile phone is to go into your phone settings/phone/silence unknown callers

This Apple Marketing who 'act' on behalf of NFP charities.
I found some contact details for their CEO on their website and emailed him directly.
I'm optimistic that they will remove me from their database.
If not then i also have his mobile number and will drop him a friendly reminder.

Called but left no message on answering machine

no message left, just ignore.

After six unwanted calls today this is first one where comments were posted. So, able to block one. Thank you.

I came on here to put in my post on them calling me. I usually let calls go to the answering machine now as I am sick of scam/marketing calls. I got caught this time though and when I answered I heard a woman say yes to someone before she hung up. This is really irritating. We do need a better do not call register. It seems these guys are using people's home phones to call from or their numbers anyway. I go straight to google street view and look up the address if there is one and can see the house of the person who just called. Then I know where they live. So I know its coming from ordinary homes a lot of the time here in Australia. Try it some time if you get an address with their number.

Yes they tried calling again this afternoon.

Caller: Apple Marketing

Having worked for a charity myself I immediately recognized Apple Marketing as an agency that does telemarketing for various charities that employ them to fundraise on their behalf. They are legit but charge the charities for their calls. I already donate to my chosen charity so simply said that to the caller and asked to be removed from their list. No issue.

Called but no message left.

Called this afternoon at 13:00. Didn't leave a message. Now blocked.

Yes, same experience

They never leave a message which is most annoying.

How annoying to think that i just don’t answer my home phone anymore. I wait for a message to be left if it is someone seriously wanting to contact me. Sign of the times!

No message left. Just hangs up. Blocked now!

Nuisance telemarketing cold callers. Have no idea what they are selling. They also use similar numbers.

Caller: Charity

Apple marketing who call people on behalf of charities who hire them. They called on behalf of Kids Cancer Project. They are a legitimate company with Australian employees.

Having said all that, I still didn’t give my credit card details over the phone (I don’t unless I make the call) I asked for the website of the charity and donated through there using my PayPal account.

Either way, this is not a scam call. However, I’m still going to block this number as I don’t enjoy these kinds of unsolicited calls.
