Scammers - "Telstra" Technical Support - You have a virus on your computer. They call regularly, they must enjoy the chat with our answering machine because they keep calling despite being blocked - scam the scammer!

I have had enough something needs to be done about these scam callers such a damned nuisance!!!! Why do we have to pay so much for line rental etc when all we are getting are these damned pests calling and calling and calling!!!

This number has beng calling me repeatedly regarding my nternet connection, obviously a scam, kept talking to them until they hung up on me!!

I called one number back to hear , the number you called is incomplete ... or unlisted ...

I got 4 calls in a space of 1/2 hr, i hung up twice and then the 3rd time they called back, I strung them along to find out that my computer was infected and that my internet was going to be disconnected. The 4th call a "supervisor" called and as i was telling him not to call back he told me to "shut my mouth and to let him talk", I don't think so!!!!

Is it worth calling the Police Assistance Line (131444 for NSW) & reporting this lot? Maybe if they get enough reports from people upset by these scammers they will get them shut down? I know I'm a dreamer but there must be something that can be done. It appears Telstra & Optus don't care as long as they get their phone line rentals & call costs paid.

Scam caller. Calls sometimes several times a day.

I am so sick of getting these calls and surely something can be done about it. I am receiving at least 6 calls per week from this number and is you hang up on them they have the audacity to call you back and ask you why you hung up !!!!

Sick of this number calling my landline

multi calls sometimes just hangup,other times claim to be tech support,same old scam
tell them you do not have a computer and they are stumped,
they hang up quick,if you take the piss out of them,pretend you are a window washer and you can come and wash their windows,just need their home address

Answered and asked me why I hung up the phone (i just didn't answer the first time they rang). She said she were calling from telstra and we have an internet connection problem, asked if I was the main user, I said no and she said "thank you" and hung up

Called twice this morning, an Indian voice with call centre noise in the background, he said "hello, hello" and hung up.

I think this is a local call (Gold Coast) as it starts with 56 Mmmm I wonder where??
Scam anyway rang back three times I told him where to go!!

Me too. When I see the number come up I answer with "Telstra here" That confuses them for a minute or 2 and then the calls continue.

Said that internet in my postcode area would be cut off from tomorrow...
Cut them off there and hung up.

Answered the phone and they hung up without saying a word

This number claims to be Telstra. I told them I was from the local police station & they swore(f@#k you motherf@#ker) at me before hanging up scam. They have called back 5 times since on different numbers.

Insisted that our internet would be cut tomorrow, mentioned something about our youtube use. When I told her I didn't believe her she asked me to open my computer and she would show me. That's when I hug up on her. Scam for sure. Had numerous missed calls from this number.

No one answers but after 10 or so seconds recorded message comes on saying "goodbye". Have received numerous calls from this number at random times.
