Caller: Claimed to be from "TS Travel"

Rang me on Friday. Said he had my wife's info in front of him and that she had filled out some form expressing interest in travel. He tried to sell me travel vouchers that would entitle me to 7 night accommodation any time in the next 2 years for $299. I said I would think about it over the weekend. He rang back today (Monday), and I said no. Sounded dodgy. Not sure why I didn't pick up on it sooner. Getting older maybe!

Phone rang, Picked it up caller (Presumably computer) hung up. Third QLD call today, two different numbers - Probably SCAM.

NBN/Telstra know where these are coming from (IP address on VOIP) Perhaps we need a class action to get them to do something about it. USA has a mechanism to stop robocalls, why hasn't Australia?

Indian accented caller claiming that I filled out some forms 12 months ago which entitled me and the family to some heavily discounted holiday. Next thing asked whether I used Visa or Mastercard, I could see where this going so I told him one of the other, I wasn't sure which one we used, also that I didn't own a computer, then he started getting a tad short with me and ended the call. good riddance

The caller claimed I had filled out a form with regards to travel, I had not!! The moment I hear the thing Asian Accent I automatically assume it to be a scam of some sort, how dare these people keep trying to con money out of any poor fool not bright enough to realise what is going on.

Male caller with thick indian accent called to advise that someone from my family had filled in a form at my local Westfield shopping to find out more details about their travel specials. WRONG....nobody from my family filled out any form regarding travel specials.
Straight away I knew this caller was a potential scammer.
Caller then proceeded to try and sell my vouchers that entitled my family to say at a 3 star resort anywhere round Australia for $ 299-00. Valid for 2 years.
Told the caller I was not interested. However the caller would not take NO for an answer and continued to push hard and try and make my buy the accomodation vouchers.
Very annoying call and very pushy so pretty sure I was right to just to hang up.
No way to authenticate the caller, no way to authenticate if the vouchers were valid and there was NO way I was going to hand over $ 299 to a complete stranger on the phone.

Sounded Filipino, offered 7 nights anywhere for $299. Sounds too good to be true? It is. Who pays the actual accommodation provider?,

Phoned in late afternoon. Jason claimed to be Top Spot Vacations when I asked whom he represented, but said their website was different from the address he would send me with steps to take up the offer. Said I had won a travel prize, offering 7 nights' accommodation in Australia or NZ within the next 24 months. Looked up Top Spot, which does list a number of offers if you become a member. Have heard no more from this phone number.

He said he was from Ebay and they had received a notification that I was charge for a gift card outside of Australia.I requested it to be cancelled and refunded to my account.
Worked out it appeared to be a scam and disconnected.

Asked for my name. I already knew it was dodgy. Some scum selling my details probably from a caravan park we are going to. Googled this while I was on the phone to him and said "No, travel safe - not interested!" He said "Oh, you're interested?" I said "No, I'm not interested in travel scam". Acted like a d*ckhead and told him, "See, showing your professionalism in scamming right there" Homo hung up....
