Caller: Scammers

Okay so for all you stupid people out there they’re just a marketing scam company that will ask you for credit card details so they can bill you on some marketing they’re going to do on your behalf – now if you are dumb and stupid enough to actually give them your bank account details or your credit card numbers then you really are an idiot yourself and you deserve to be ripped off because you have no financial intelligence so stop being an idiot and don’t do it… however because I’m smart I know how to play along with the little game and I had a bit of free time sitting at a coffee shop drinking a nice latte so I sat on the phone with them for awhile and wasted some of their time and they ended up hanging up on me LOL– anyway you have now been warned hopefully you’re not a d*ck head ..

They clearly had a big day on the 28th june - I got the same call as the above respondents and hung up. Pure scam but concerning how much personal details of ours they may have acquired somehow.

Caller: 'Ebay'

Recorded automated message telling me I had to pay $299.99 (I think) before a package could be delivered to me and to press number 1 to pay it. I am not waiting for anything from ebay and hung up.

Said $199.99 to be extracted from my account. No details of order. If I did not place order ring 618614624114. Scam????

$99.99 and same would be debited from my account if I did not place the order call us on 618614624114 and press 1 immediately to speak to their representative to cancel the order.

SCAM: QLD number that is linked to the same scam that uses (08) 6146 2411 as this is the number you are requested to call back on.

Very suspect, bogus request for $99.99

Call from this number claiming to be Ebay saying 299.95 gift card amount would be debited from my account. When asked for my surname, I gave them a name, not mine and she preceded to tell me how they would refund the money. I called her out on the surname and she hung up.

I did not answer but they left a message about something being charged to my account (the identity of caller was muffled) & they said
if I did not place order I was to ring 618614624114 - this number has one too many digits to be valid so I assume this is a scam????
