I have had these people calling me all day and when I answer they hang up. They have called about 5 times since lunch time and I am over it. We did cancel AUSTAR yesterday and told them not to ring us anymore but looks like they have not got the idea.

I have never had Austar, but I am getting annoying phantom calls from the above number. I now list it in my contacts as "reject call" and ignore it.

Started calling me when I was overseas so did not take
The call. Googled it instead to find this page. Calls have started up again 2yesterday and 1 today.

Claimed to be Austar, spoke to me in the most bizarrely passive-aggressive way. Complimented an area I had previously lived, said they've got some offers, quickly shoehorned 'this is being recorded' in and then started trying to sell.

try registering your number with the do not call register and see if that helps, it is supposed to stop telemarketers. i think web address is donotcallregister.gov.au or something like this

I keep getting calls from this number on my new phone only had it for 2 weeks so I rang it back and it's foxtel. Why are they calling don't know don't care about there over priced crap. free to air tv is is good enough. I just wish they would stop

I get a call every day from this number. Only once was there a voice at the other end, who tried to sell me an austar product. I've asked them to stop calling and I still get a call every day. It's driving me crazy!

Never had it & cannot afford it - 8 missed calls since yesterday... and its upsetting babies sleeping, so mobile is now on silent. If you dont answer - they should get the message!!! Stop calling wanker.

Cancelled Austar a over a year ago & now have foxtel. Yet this number continues to call me everyday??? Hence I never answer anymore yet they still kelp calling. Harassment much :/

THESE PEOPLE HAVE BEEN CALLING ME FOR OVER A YEAR, ONCE A MONTH. MY MOTHER HAD AN AUSTAR ACCOUNT UNTIL MAY 2011. SHE DIED OVER A YEAR AGO AGED 95, i HAVE ANSWERED SEVERAL OF THESE CALLS, PRETENDING THEY ARE AUSTAR, I HAVE TOLD THEM 3 TIMES THAT MY MOTHER DIED AND THEY WONT GIVE UP. THEY ARE DRIVING ME MAD, I WISH I COULD SUE THEM

I keep getti this nba calling its 1826 and they just tried to call im soo sick of dealing with them i moved states and cancelled my service in jan but i still got charged and they keep sending my bills but i no longer have austar and they still tellin me i still have the box when i dont im getting harresed by repomen wanting the box bak But i dont have it im going nuts
