Telemarketers

Have had two missed calls from this number on my mobile in the last two days, one during the day and one during the evening. It only rings a few times and then disconnects before I answer. I am on the do not call register.

Me and my wife receive calls from this number simultaneously once a week. We never answer since I believe, if you answer the callers will get a free port and access to your phone memory and all your info. It's like the Movie Matrix, they call in and get access to your info. SO Never Answer A Phone Number that You don't recognize!

I have received calls from this number with no answer when I pick up. I believe it is a number used by telemarketing call-ahead technology that detects when a person picks up and then either transfers that call to a telemarketer who is not busy or places that person's number in a queue for auto-dialling later. Recently I've been receiving calls from an Indian woman who follows the same script - "Don't get me wrong, I am not telemarketing, I am just doing a survey that will take only 30 seconds." That survey would tag me on their system as a sucker who is prepared to listen to telemarketers and my number then becomes something worth selling.

i receved calls from this number several times last time all i heard was females talking in the back ground then it hung up i called back to find the number not connected

Received 4 calls from this number today, tried calling back and get disconnected signal.

Just got a call from this number, called back and got "the number you have dialed is not connected".

I get a call from this number at least 2-3 times a day... WTF??

called me twice in the last 2wks and once i answered a busy tone and the other i returned several times to a busy tone.

No idea - didnt answer as I hate telemarketers

I also recieved a call from this number this morning and it was just a beeping tone, when I tried to call back it also just disconnected itself before the phone had even managed to dial.

I receive calls regularly from this number and there is never a person on the line. It just waits sliently for a few seconds then disconncts itself. I would like to know what is going on. If anyone can advise me I will appreciate it.
