So I answered this call today and the girl said she was from somewhere which I could not understand (she said it fast) but it sounded like "Boscom Cowe". She said "I see you are on your mobile but I wanted to check if you still live in x suburb". I then asked her again where she was calling from and she said she could not continue the call until I confirmed where I was from, so I asked her again where she was from and she said "what a friggin cow" and hung up on me.Hopefully that's the last I'll hear from them :-)

(07) 5630 9200 received a call from this number. they said they were after donations for a childrens hospital...but how would you know

I get about 5 phone calls a day from the same people with different numbers...and its only started happening since i switched over to optus post paid. Never happened pre-paid. I have about 19 numbers on a blocked list.
Once they claimed they were a taxi service and his friend had called me about 8 times in 5 minutes...he was sorry.
Simple thing to do, dont answer a number you dont know. Add it to your block list stat.
Its annoying, but at least you know they only have your phone number, and hopefully nothing else.

I got the call today but rejected it as I was in a meeting.  I tried calling back but it has been engaged.Anyone know what it is?  mumbai call centre? LOL...

I too have been receiving calls from this number, they originally asked whether this was the phone of Mr & Mrs # (my last name) and when I asked who it was, they said "Rob" and again asked me the question, I asked what it was regarding and they hung up.  Now when they ring back, it doesn't matter if it is myself or someone else that answers the phone, they just hang up.  I can't call back as it is constantly engaged, doesn't matter whether it is day or night
