Surf Life Saving Qld, wanting you to buy tickets in their raffle.

I answered as my phone stated that the call was coming from Southport in Qld and thought it might be a relative of mine so I answered and didn't speak.
The person calling asked if I was there and used my first name? Didn't pronounce it correctly but she also had either a New Zealand or British kind of accent so I don't know what it was all about but it will either be a scam or donations drive could even possibly be debt collection but they usually wouldn't call with a landline showing. It's not a scam but rather a call centre for charities for donations, fundraising etc. They outsource the work. The majority of all donations go to admin costs.

I had two calls from the number only about 40 mins apart, one of the calls I picked up and they said they were Cerebral Palsy League of Australia

Same as others have written. I missed a call and called back. A transfer seemed to happen then a recording that said thanks for your call, good-bye.

No message left... didn't know the number, looked at this site, thanks for the info. most probably a scam

Called back and they said thankyou for calling then hung up, scam.

They've called me about a dozen times, Never leave a message. Hang up if you call back.

"Thankyou for calling. Goodbye" Scam. If you are a Telstra customer ring 1800 805 996 to block numbers such as this.
