My Computer was locked up, supposed to be from Windows Smart Screen to protect it from unrecognized app.and I was advised on the screen and to contact Support immediately on this number. The number dialed like a local number the I heard a faint click, click, so I knew this call was being diverted. I asked the chap who answered the phone where he was and said he was in Windows Call Center in California. I told him I didn't have time to attend to the problem now but would have tomorrow. He said he would call and asked what time would suit. I said 11am. haven't heard a thing. Checked with my computer man this morning. He said it was a scam and he unlocked my computer,
