Isn't it just a pain in the BUTT !!! 2-3 times a day for weeks on end.

i told them i was renting yet they are still caling back

Been getting a lot of calls lately from this number (07) 5579 6400.  I dont answer my phone and they do not leave a message on my messagebank.  I tried calling the number back using the land line and its constantly engaged.
I am just going to ignore it.  What else can you do?  Suggest everyone do the same or check your phone settings, you might be able to barr this caller.

OK I was just about to ring Telstra but thought I'd do a 'Goggle' and found the above postings for this number. I've had this number ringing me for a number of weeks although it's normally after work hours. However I've been home the last couple of days and over a 3 day period I have had no less than 4 calls each day from either (07) 5579 6400 or
(07) 5562 9900, although I haven't been 'lucky' (?) enough to speak to someone who claims to be in Boston, and in the last hour I have had 4 calls. Guess I'll just keep hanging up on them...as Telstra obviously can't help us with this annoyance!!

both numbers (07) 5579 6400 and (07) 5562 9900 have started calling me several times a day. in the last two days its been that one number rings my home number and then about 10 seconds later the other number rings my mobile. 3 times in the last hour!! its starting to thoroughly do my head in - looks like telstra and the police here i come

When you get calls from marketing numbers (such as the one above) and theres no one at the other end, your being called by a machine, whih is logging the time of day that you answer your phone. it then sells these logs to various companies so they can work out what time periods your most likely to pick up the phone. if there calling your mobile, you can add it to a blocked number list on your phone (if you have that function) or assign it a really annoying ring tone, so you'd prefer to run away from your mobile, rather than pick it up.
