Ezy Flights Beachbreak Holidays Scam

Posted on July 13, 2013

Having worked for the "Company" for 9 months I can affirm that they are as dodgy as all hell. They basically buy at net prices and sell at full price as part of the conditions.
The Father and the Son who run this scam are dodgy as they come and will rob you blind as they would do to their own family
BE WARNED people do not fall for the trap

Hey Guys! NEVER EVER buy through ezy-flights or beachbreak! Every now and then, a sales person will be very honest with you and lead you through exactly what you are buying (probably because you're the sort of person who will buy anything and they pick up on the fact you're an easy sell, so just choose to be up front!). I used to work for ezy flights in Robina, Gold Coast and know first hand that they are an absolute scam. around 50% of people ask for their money back after realising the rip off the sale is, and never get their money back. it is a LEGAL scam. Total rubbish!!! We had a script that told you there are no taxes on flights and all accommodation is cheap - this is total lies you will be charged tax and your accommodation will ALWAYS be more expensive that any advertised price. Just a warning! Also - a c*nt of a boss called Craig, who will do anything for a sale when the numbers are down. youve been warned!!

UP & GO TRAVEL

This is a high-pressure holiday sales company. Used to be called 'EzyFlights', then 'Beach Break' holidays, now they're called 'Up & Go Travel'. Extremely rude sales people. When I refused his offer, the salesman said "Well, I just don't understand you people. I know where you're from, you're all millionaires sitting over there, and you won't give me this one little deal"... and he kept carrying on about how he's been in the industry for 17 years, blah blah blah... this was the rudest salesperson I have experienced in YEARS. I checked prices, it's a total scam. Don't bother.

I am hours away from sealing the deal with ezy flights for our flights and accom in May. However I am very sceptical! We were quoted $2764 for the package. I did my own pricing for the same accom which came to $1875 so my question is what is the extra $889 for?? not to mention the $399 we already paid fof the EZY flight tickets! This is a total of $1288 extra which to me would be the price of 4 airline tickets that are meant to be free???

There seems to be a few bad comments about this company however I personally just got back from a 7 night Gold Coast holiday booked through this mob and couldn't of asked for better service not to mention the accommodation was just wonderful. I think the main thing to keep in mind here is anything promotional has terms and conditions attached and its a matter of understanding what you are purchasing. I did not get any discount on my accommodation and found it on the internet $25 cheaper per night however I was happy to pay the standard rate on the accommodation as I was saving around $450 on my airfares so still $275 saving even if I had of purchased the cheaper online accom and booked my own flights.

Let down

Be aware, they are SCAM. They called me out of nowhere, invading my privacy (telemarkets should get penalized for that), offering you $50 flights and then hook you with a 7nights stay with their proposed hotels. They offered me $150 per night accommodation with breakfast included and I am still waiting on their response. Their communication system is poor, they never send physical correspondence, apparently they tried to call me a couple of times and send one email in 6months to chase up their money and now their sending the debts collectors, that's a harsh treatment for a service that I haven't even booked/received yet. As costumer, we should be able go beyond the 10days cooling off period to cease contracts with dodgy people like this. I still can’t believe I have to pay after that kind of treatment. Ezyflights makes sure they have all their corners covered with their terms and condition and the moment they seem to get away with everything they do, but what comes around goes around. I encourage people to come forward and complain to Consumers affairs and if possible take legal actions. I know it is a time and money consuming exercise, but I really think the more of us complaining to Consumer affairs, the quicker we can get rid off Ezyflight/Beachbreak scam based system for good. Lets do all do something about it.

I had the phone call, got sucked in but checked internet and it sounded like it could be a scam. Rang my bank immediately, I am now getting threating
phone calls from bullying women telling me they will be sueing me. I should have read the small print they keep telling me. What a way to do business!! Just proves that they are know better than a scam.

Stung

No, they offer air flight tickets as cheap as you can get them if you book in advance yourself, then they expect you to stay at resorts for up to 14 days, no discounts (suggest off peak to make it cheaper). If you challenge them in anyway they are intimidate and threaten you for your money. Not pleasant.
