Got one of these calls at 12noon today from someone claiming to be from My Just Rewards. Thankfully my reception was crap and it dropped out - checked the number on here, and reading the comments has confirmed my suspicions. Added to auto-reject list.

ha, ha, ha ... cheap accommodation and travel ????

You have no idea what are you talking about.

RCI, ICE, Wyndham etc.. a SCAMMERS selling you hot air. They trick you on presentation with small gift prom missing that you will have access to holidays any time in any of more than 4,000 luxurious resorts.

It cost you only $25,000+ or more in advance for "ownership" or whatever they call it (weeks or points) plus about $1,500+ every year for "maintenance fees, RCI membership, exchange fees, platinum RCI membership, extension of validity of your exchange etc. for a week in fifth class of accommodation as everything worth they steal from members they sell for cash as "extra vacations" usuallt more expensive than you can buy anywhere else..

Wyndham, RCI, ICE and hundreds of so called Holiday clubs are the same USA based company registered under various names in Australia.

AVOID any offers from them regardless how good they sound as all what you get is overpriced crap room nowhere where nobody wants to go out of any season or school holidays.

Find your holidays on-line or in reputable travel agency - better, much cheaper and you go where you want and when you want.

If you accept any of their offers, you are in contract for a very lonfg period of years (even for life) and you CAN NOT AVOID paying them thousands every year without any possibility for nice vacation.

ACC, ACMA and other authorities refused to deal with them as they do not spare money for bribes. This kind of Ameriken SCAM should be PROHIBITED.

It has been over 10 since a friend and I signed up together. Within a week of return home we had over $13,000 in debt on a credit card provided to us but yet to receive any membership information with numbers needed to even use service. Debt the size of a car and second payment due and still no way to access what we are paying for. Several attempts and calls to office in Bahamas getting us nowhere, asking for dispute paperwork getting us nowhere. Going to be turned over to a lawyer, severe misrepresentation!

The reason you hear a ringing tone when they answer is they have an autodialler making the calls. If someone answers the autodialler (probably a Personal Computer)will transfer the call to an available agent. The calls originate from ICE/RCI/Wyndham. ICE is a Cruise company, RCI is Resort Condominiums International (a Timeshare Company) and Wyndham is also a Timeshare Company. I know, I have Timeshare and have been to many presentations - just to get the freebies if we happen to be close by when they ring. They do not check the DoNotCall Register so good luck trying to stop them!!

yes this is RCI -your number has been referred to them from someone in your family or a friend who has signed up with them. To find out who dobbed you in, start talking about travelling - won't be long before the culprits reveal themselves

I've been getting calls from them every few days or so. I rang them, they identified themselves as a 'travel company' and asked me had I any timeshare arrangement with them. I was told "We'll check with Administration (and find out why the calls)"
I'm not convinced -- I've created a caller-block on my home phone now.

They called me today, asked for me by name and asked why I hadn't activated my $100 voucher that they emailed to me yet. I said I never received it and they asked for my email address, "just to make sure they had it spelled correctly". When I gave it to them, they came back with some bogus gmail address and said that was the issue. Then went on to try talking me into a cruise or holiday or wine deal. Asked to check my address and I said "well what do you have on file?" She said she couldn't bring it up just then, so I hung up. Just scammers leading you along. Australian woman, not the usual call centre type.

This number belongs to RCI (Resort Condominiums International) Sales.
RCI is an exchange broker for Timeshare Resorts and are in a stable of travel organisations like Wyndham and My Just Rewards.
