The worst thing to do is reply at all. IGNORE AND DELETE MESSAGE. Replying indicates to messaging system that number is active. Do not reply.

"I keep getting text messages which read: URGENT! Our records indicate that you may be entitled to £2750 for the acdident you had. To apply for fgree reply YES to this message. To opt out text STOP."

It is a balant phising exercise, and keeps happening inspite of me texting stop.

Just had one of these from this number:  +447938182922Join the TPS to report these unsolicited texts and calls.  It's free to join and once you register your phone/s, they do work to remove your number/s from these nuisance callers and scammers.
