Caller: Possible scam I missed a call from this number yesterday and they didn’t leave a message. I’m currently planning a wedding on the Gold Coast and thought it might be a vendor calling me back. I called the number back and received a ‘this number is not connected’ automated message. Eights minutes later, I received a call from Guinea +224 6813 50734. My guess is this they use a fake local number to call you first to get you to call back. They then call you from the international number hoping you call back the international number, where you’re billed for calling a very expensive international toll number.
